We are the Lawrence Community Parks Foundation.
Founded in 2019, the Lawrence Community Parks Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to support and enhance public parks and greenspace in the City of Lawrence.
Our vision is that Lawrence is recognized for great parks, connected trails, vibrant green spaces and inclusive recreational opportunities that connect our community.

Lending a hand to support our community.
The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated many disparities in our society, particularly around food insecurity. Since the summer of 2020, our Foundation has worked with community partners, including Gleaners Food Bank, MSD Lawrence Township, Community Health Network and more than 140 volunteers to provide over 10,000 meals to local families.
